I want the Doctor to take a kid as his companion.
A 14-15 year old kid who’s parents are fighting, has few friends, bad grades, and feels like complete shit before the Doctor comes.
No kissing, complicated relationships, confusion or stuff like that, just the Doctor taking a kid who doesn’t see much out of life for a ride.
Lovely idea until you remember what happens to a damned lot of his companions.
Especially the children.
Adric. He was super genius but he had a lot of that. The Master killed him.

Tolerance and respect
People still don’t understand the difference between tolerance and respect.
No one is compelled to respect your decisions. Ever. What we have to do is tolerate the fact that you’re stupid.
Respecting implies that it has some merit and while you don’t agree, you can follow the logic they offered.
Tolerating someone’s d someone’s decision ecision means that while the offending action is utterly ridiculous, you will not allow it to provoke a volatile reaction from you.
I tolerate a lot, contrary to popular belief.However, I reserve my respect for those who and that which has earned it.
I will not compromise. I am not sorry.
